Cheap Refurbished Palm PDA's

Found this website that offers cheap Palm PDA's.

I did a quick check on the PalmLifedrive against Pricerunner (I know that these are refurbished) but you can save £111.20!!!!

£175.00

Quickly drag and drop thousands of files from your PC onto your LifeDrive mobile manager. Your folder structure remains intact so you can easily locate important information when you need it. Plus, select the files you want to keep in sync, and they’ll be automatically updated whenever you sync with your computer.

The other Palm PDA's look to be at good prices but I haven't had time to check them against any other sites. Sorry.

Hope this helps someone to save some money ;)

Official Note

The specific Palm mentioned above is no longer available but the PDA page here has offers including this Palm Tungsten E2 for £89. Payment is via Paypal. Plus this seller also sells refurbished and new products on ebay so it may be worth checking there first.
Looking to raise some money ;)

  • The colour palms should all be ok to run as a GPS, as long as they have bluetooth.
You can buy bluetooth GPS receivers off fleabay for about 40 quid.

All the refurb stuff i've ever had has played up badly and ended up being returned. Mobile phones from Virgin etc.

Right now i've got a refurbed Sky+ digibox that needs a second visit in as many months. On the first visit they Sky engineer said "it's refurbed and is always going to give trouble".

Bought loads of refurb stuff. No problems with any of it and it has always looked brand new (maybe Ive been lucky).

Took the plunge and ordered one of these. Recently bought an HP Ipaq 3715 refurb, my first Windows based PDA, and not entirely happy with it. The unit itself and the software is great but things like the wifi is a bit hit and miss and I dont like the fact that windows based PDAs kep all programs open in the background hoggin memory until you forceably enter the system to close them. This isnt an issue with the unit, more the operating system.

I know the lifedrive is bigger than the Palm but going to use it like an Ipod for music, pictures and video so the 4GB is welcome. Also, I miss the Palm OS. Quick and simple, even my Mum used to borrow my Tungsten E to take on holiday!.

Will let you know what this refurb product is like when I get it.

  • This company also sells the same goods via ebay. So, you could get the same refurb item cheaper by bidding for it.

LuzernTech sells brand new items as well via ebay - I know because I bought a sealed Palm Treo 600 from them for £145 via ebay a few months back.
  • Ive used this company about a year ago, very impressed with what I got (Palm Tungsten e).
