can I pay mortgage off early?

I am a first time buyer and am looking for a mortgage where in maybe 5-7 yrs I would like to pay it off completely. I am not on a super salary but will hopefully get a loan through my family rather than the banks. Will there be a fee or will they offwe poor interest rates because of this?

Well you could get deals that after 5 years will have no penalties - these will be standard rates
