Hee hee had to reduce a ridiculously useless and dangerous bank by as much as 3 feet above the patio so it looks like someone's been quarrying soil at the mo :rotfl: It looks much tidier though.
That's a good idea of your mum's. The plan was to remove them so the tree surgeon chopped them low and to plant a windbreak which would also screen off the car parking space behind them. I was planning on building a bird table close to the house using a rustic pole which had been an upright from a rickety pergola. Bread board would do nicely. I forgot to ask the digger driver to excavate me a hole for it though
