Who has won a holiday today?

My husband got a phone call to say he has won a holiday to Spain, Cornwall, Devon... he is winding me up about where but I know he's won something because they rang me first at home and I gave them his mobile number..

.. apparently he was given a number to ring and a reference number.

Does that sound like a Win or a con?

I dont enter for him, so its one he has entered himself.

Just curious as he seems pleased but he nipped up to work to help them with something and wont give me much information. Its like a cliffhanger...

I had a letter from Seasons Holidays yesterday to say I had won a prize to the value of £3750, I rang the number and gave the reference number and they said all they ask for is a 'maintenance fee'. It turns out its a timeshare, I'm not bothering with it to be honest!

She stressed that we would still be able to go on a holiday after going to a presentation - and all they want is word of mouth advertising.

I think they know they are scammers.. even their sales staff sound apologetic

Anyways, she said it would only cost us £29pp and not to believe what is said online - I googled it quick whilst on hold :rotfl:

anyways, no insurance for kids under 7 so I thanked her and said we wouldn't be going

I had one on Monday regarding a makeover in London. She said this and that and made it sound brilliant and then at the end of the call she said about the price. I quickly put the phone down
