When do reserved items go back into stock if not collected?

Sorry- think Ive worded it wrong- what I mean is say someones ordered 10 items but doesnt collect them by close of play on the second day, how soon would they go back into stock both online and in store so that I could then buy them.

I ask as theres so many more clearance items I want but they are all out of stock. Just want to know if theres a particular time of day I should check the internet for items that may be back in stock due to non collection!

End of second day I think.. should tell you when you reserve.

IIRC it's normally about the end of the second day after they were reserved.

I think it varies a bit though, possibly depending on how expensive/popular the item is?

i had reserved something but had not managed to get in to get it and it was the only one left, so I kept "reserving" the item just at the close of business of the second day and I think it was about 20 minutes when I could reserve it again.

When the store shuts and we put the main system into night mode, any reservations due to expire will go back into main stock (ie can be reserved) as soon as this happens, usually about 15 minutes after the store closes. so for example if your reservation ends on Thursday, and the store where you have reserved stock shuts at 5.30 on a Thursday, it will go back into main stock usually between 5.30 - 5.45 ish.
