Bit of help with chicken 'stock' please?

Hi All,
I regularly boil up my chicken carcas to make stock, and in so doing I get all the little bits of meat off the carcass.
I sieve and remove all the obvious bones, but there always seem to be afew bits of bone which escape. DH HATES having little bits of bone in his rissotto or whatever, and DSKs refuse to eat any more if they find a bit of bone!

I've never really had this problem, sorry, but maybe once you have sieved it once you could put it through the sieve again but line the sieve with a coffee filter paper or some kitchen roll - might help get those pesky bones??

Thanks MrsB.
I probably didn't explain too well - I think the bones are in the bits of chicken which come off the carcas, which I then use in my rissotto, soup or whatever.
I thought of putting the chicken bits in the blender, but would the little bits of bone just splinter into more dangerous bits/ Or ruin the blades in the blender?
Maybe I need to get as much off the carcas as poss and then resign myself to chucking away the little bits of meat, but it really goes against the grain! The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"

If you pick it off with your fingers you get rid of the little bones in the chicken carcass - I have just done this and made soup too.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

I always line a collander with clean muslin or a clean cotton teatowel. Nothing but juice gets through then!0
