Need a loan-poor credit

All,
I familiar with the threads about loans for people with poor credit to buy cars, etc and the advice is always to save and not buy. On my case, my lightbulb moment was 2 months ago, I just started working 3 jobs, called my credit card companies and hardly spend any money. Despite that, and due to past mistakes, I have got unpaid bills such as rent, council tax and two cash till payday loans. I have literally no money left. I would like to ask for a small loan around £3000 to cover these expenses to get back on track. It would allow me to focus on paying the loan and the credit cards with both my part-times.Welcome Finance and Black Horse have declined me, I wonder if there is any other "reasonable" company that you could recommend. Credit Unions need a 3 months commitment before I am able to apply for a loan.
I need to pay these as soon as possible, I am on sleepless nightsm getting letters, called, etc. What is frustrating is that now I am finally on track, working 2 part times and one full time, will get paid at the end of the month. Considering that most are loan sharks, which ones are the not so bad?

  • Hi
I think you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who would recommend any more credit. I would approach each of your creditors with a realistic payment plan starting form next month and offer them a token payment this month of for example a pound. Also contact cccs and payplan (free) to see if yoy are eligible for debt management plan, after a coupe of months all letters, phone calls etc stop and you just make 1 monthly payment which is distributed out on your behalf.
You could also search on here for template letters to send requesting that you are contacted by letter only.

    Thanks Skint,
But that's my point, I will be able to afford future payments, but without an amount now, I won't able to pay my Barclays loan payment, two cash till payday, rent, council tax, food, electricity. When I get paid from my 3 jobs, I will start putting aside to pay the loan and other commitments. But I need some immediate cash, cccs do not lend money. The Barclays loan was asked by a friend on my behalf, i can't let him down by missing a payment.
All I need is an amount to make all those payments, and with my jobs, my life will get back on track. I have £20 to live on until the 30th August.

Could someone recommend a company that would lend me £2500 to £3000, bearing in mind that I have poor credit and Welcome and Black Horse declined me?

  • i wouldnt if I was you, but you could always try money shop, provident etc
cant you ring your cash til payday ask them to roll it over and pay it as soon as you get paid?
you can always avoid the rent for a week or 2 and c tax are usually ok as long as you make it up asap, so if its really just the loan, can you lend it off firiend or family?
can you ask for an advance on your wages?

  • Renegotiate your payments. Now that you have secured employment that would ensure that you pay them, they'll be willing to listen to you. Note however that renegotiation MAY attract higher interests on the loans, but I think that the discussion that you have with your creditors will bring about peace of mind to you.
