Remoska alternative.

Hi all, after reading the remoska thread I would defo like to buy one, But I am also trying to become DF and they are a little out of my price range so I looked on Ebay and found this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Grand-Gourmet-Multi-Cooker-pizza-crepes-kitchen-oven-LG_W0QQitemZ330258731270QQihZ014QQcategoryZ20672QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

my question's are is this the same as a remoska? Is it any good?

Many thanks

I imagine it probably does a lot that the Remoska does, but I believe the Remoska's heating element is in the cover, not the base, so it cooks a bit differently. I'm planning on buying the Remoska, on the basis that it will pay for itself in electric savings as we use the oven constantly it seems. I'm sure some others can give you more info.

Looks like something my sister has, but hers is rectangular and huge and yonks old. She swears by hers and uses it a lot, but you are never going to fit a roast in that like you can in a Remoska.

(I'm still in the want a Remoska, but struggling to justify it club!)

1500 W element compared to 450 W for the Remoska... it's going to cost a lot more in leccy to cook in....
