Yourself, its your birthday money people give it you hoping you will treat yourself, so you should and it may spur you on to pay your debts off quicker.

I think if you get all consumed in getting debt free sometimes you can fall off the wagon and rebel - its like being on a diet without treats more likely to fail!

    Happy Birthday btw!
  • me! def me! its your birthday and you deserve a treat! i think if you use it to pay something you will only resent it and then probably have a stupid splurge while feeling a bit down ( well thats what i have done before!)

I would pay off one debt and treat myself to a LITTLE special something.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I'd spend it on me as long as I was not in an arrears situation.
If i was behind on payments then i would use it to bring that up to date or nearer up to date but if it was just a case of paying a little extra to a debt I would have a treat.

The way I see it is I work my butt off to pay my debts off quicker and therefor deserve a treat every now and then.

Personally, i would spend it on me. Its your birthday money, its for a treat.

If you are in trouble with your debts (arrears etc.) it may be worth paying some towards your debt.

    You deserve a treat.

Spend it on you - when we are skint we get very little (if anything) for ourselves. I have spent birthday money and xmas money on the kids and on food/bills etc. I quite often get vouchers given now to ensure that i use it for me. Whoever gives you the money would prob not like to think that you are spending it on someting other than yourself! Spend it x Happy Bday also x
