  • Hello its the "H2B" here.

Our post was to ask advice on not how to pay the debt, but simply are we liable for a made up debt that the the slimy car salesman made up?and has not contacted us over for the past 3 years.

A debt trumped up by a man who has been investigated by the police for similar things, credit fraud and overcharging on credit.

From a guy who said "The Credit company wont go for it unless you take out a £400 3 year warranty" later to find out the credit company was him, and of course his bogus claims of repair work on the car that was miraculously done in 1/2 a day - which should be covered under this "Required" £400 warranty.

To sum up i know ive been stitched up as many others have been by this man - it all took place over 6 years ago, no contact from him to offer payment scheme or sort it out, only a letter claiming 10k

Needs to be sorted - best route to getting rid of this leech would be appreciated.

Fight it or just get on with it?

    Thanks

  • In quick reply to Robert Sterlings post,
I diont actually stop paying, i had an attachment of earnings which i agreed to, and after moving jobs and informing the company , they advised it was his responsibilty to setup an new attachment, he did nothing.

Again in the investigations about this guy he has made it harder for people, in an effort to gain more cash (I know this as an ex girlfriends father was on the force and filled me in on it - dont know if he should have - shhhhhhh!!)
