Now I'm sure someone will jump at me for suggesting this. But surely they only check the medical records if you put in a claim, wouldn't it be too much hassle otherwise? Could you get away with telling a few porkies, no family history, that sort of thing if you are just going to cancel int he next few months anyway?
Hugs
Helen
(hoping she doesn't get hung drawn & quartered for suggesting such a thing)We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

I've just applied for a policy
Just to confirm, I took the life insurance policy. I assume this policy can be cancelled at anytime, am I right? Most probably I'll cancel it after 4 months (since they say they will send the £100 claim letter 28 days after the 3 months).
This is what they say in their FAQ sectionWhat if I stop paying?
Cover will cease if your direct debit payments are stopped or cancelled. Your plan and cover will end after 30 days from the date the last premium was due. You won't get back any payments you've made0 -
Gone for it too..... fingers x0

Also for my current life insurance i had to have a medical, if this is the case i very much doubt it'll be as cheap as £5 per month
I think its a simplified policy so you do not seem to have to have a medical - but in return the sum assured looks to be quite low, for example I was offered £100k cover over a 10 year term but then only £50k when I clicked the box to say I smoked a couple of years ago.The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
I'll apply tomorrow, when I can look into it more.
Fingers crossed for us all anyway.0 -

Thanks james, I've given it a go via CBK, I'm having tracking problems on quidco so I hope CBK tracks for me.:A

Ive gone through Quidco, in theory there should be no reason why you dont get both sets of money, as quidco is the short cut to get to the Post Office, the Post office mony offer is a different promo fron=m Quidco.
So heres fingers crossed.xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I'm VERY tempted - but tired too so maybe i'll have a good look 2moro. GL to you all tho!!!0
