Hi to All Users
MY sister has and Endowment Mortgage ofr £43000 which is due to end in 4 years time (taken out with the Woolwich) and the project for the enwment is that she'll B lucky if the policy pays half the amount due.
Unfortunately, she is unemployed and is not likely to be able to return to work as her son is autisitc (other complications).
Obviously, this is more than a little taxing and she has the addition headache that the lease on her property only has 72 years to run and this is another problem that will need addressing unrgently (but I will post this on the relevant forum).
I have said that we need to approach her lenders again to discuss what can be done as they have said that she needs to wait until the mortgage is due to C what can be done.
No one in their right minds would wait until this happens so I am trying to C what we can put inot place before this happens hence my posting).
If anyone has any ideas I would be extremly grateful for your assistance.
I know that this will be a hard one but any help is better than no help.
Many thanks in advance
