  • Probably your best bet is to try the price comparision site ie pricerunner, dealtime, kelkoo etc.

You can filter the options including on price, so you can identify the features you need.

I've found co-op electrical are normally pretty competitive co-op

Might be worth a dive on quidco or rpoints to see if they have any cashback deals with your chosen supplier.

i also recommend looking at the above site. bought a bosch machine for 210. it was exdisplay model so is unused. when it was delivered you can tell its been unused by the pipework and the transit bolts still in place. it was around 130 cheaper than a spanking new model. be prepared for few scratches and dents. the website gives full information about any damages on the machine. dont forget to add delivery charges. dont go for used/return items unless very cheap. they all come with 12 months guarantee
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

I DO NOT recommend looking at clearance comet. Most of the items go for over-the-top prices, once their excessive delivery charges are taken into account. The damage is also not always accurately described.

We purchased a washing machine with "dents to side" and it had dents to the front and missing control knobs - it was completely useless. We eventually got a refund but no compensation and two wasted sessions of waiting in for them to deliver and collect.

You can get a perfectly reasonably Beko WMA1512W (1200 spin, AAB, 5.5kg capacity) from several shops including Argos for £200 or thereabouts.

Try John Lweis - they have a free 2yr guarrantee and delivery - ther's a couple of Indesit's one @ £189 & another @ £229 - though the cheapest is out of stock at the moment. I had one of these it lasted for about 15 years!

Actually got quite a few around the £200 mark - Hotpoint's Zanussi's and if you can stretch to 239 a Bosch.

well with any supplier you do get teething problems with the goods and delivery. i had ordered a washing machine and a tv which came on time and were as described. suppose i was lucky.
