I don't know what to say really. Feel a little shell shocked.

I have been reading this forum for a long time and I just wanted to tell someone that I've done it, and it was incredibly scary, but.......what a relief when it's done.

Arrived at the court at 09:00. Unfortunately it took several hours to see the clerk because of a complicated case which preceeded mine. This was fine as it gave me time to go to the gents and try to remove some of the butterflies which were fluttering around in my stomach.

The clerk was very pleasant, he took my £495, corrected a couple of mistakes, stamped the forms and sent me up to see the judge.

Because of the earlier delay, I had to wait for another hour because the judges were at lunch. I spent two minutes with the judge and was made officially bankrupt at 14:15. I am Number 388 of 2008. (not the only one then):o

Just the dreaded interview with the OR to go.

Having connection problems today:mad: ,but just wanted to say welcome to the club:p . Yes it is a very nerve wracking process but you will be glad you did it when all the stress,phone calls,letters stop.D
