Help - Income paid to us jointly - how do I split it??

Good afternoon my life saviours
Well another tricky one for you....
I have just looked at how our income is paid to us - although it's all paid into my hubbys own bank account (since March when I confessed all to him).
It transpires that nearly all of it is paid to Mr and Mrs XXXXXX. We just happen to pay it into his account.
So how do I split that on the income form????
Have just spend a hair raising hour or so legal all the technical stuff that the OR has to do and it's made me even more worried than I was before - if that is possible.
After only a couple of hours sleep last night - not a good day trying to get my head around it all, tired but just couldn't nod off. I have spent today trying to read up as much as possible. Porbably not the best idea.....

Is it income from investments? I'm not really sure how you'd split it up.

Hi:hello:
If neither of you work, just split the income paid into both names straight down the middle. Then split all household expenditure the same. Then add your PERSONAL expenditure to your share of household exp. Take that away from your half of the income and see what disposable income is left.Think thats right.lol.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
