Just been to the pearl restaurant tea. Was really good and only got charged for the drinks. Children are welcome too.

    Set menu consists of-
    • Choice of Starters- poppodum, bhaji, samosa, chicken/lamb tikka, garlic chicken, seekh kebab, mushroom dippers, chicken/veg pakoras.
    • Then choice of mains- choose chicken, chicken/lamb tikka, prawns, veg, lamb or mushrooms and then choice of sauce- korma, tikka masala, rogan josh, bhuna, blati, jalfrezi, madras, nepali, karahi, dopiaza, handi.
As you can see there is a wide range of meals and was very enjoyable. Would recommend it to anyone. It cost us about £15 for 2 pints of lager, 2 cokes and a coffee and a donation to the charity (which you don't have to do).

I emailed to them and they said children under 18 are not allow and it is only up to 4 people. i am surprise that the website said 8 people? Do it included naan or rice for curry?
  • Thanks to the OP my son and his friends all had a great meal tonight. I saw the post and sent him a text about it as he lives in Manchester. So thank you on their behalf.

When we went on Monday, there were loads of children in the place- ranging from babies to toddlers to older children. They weren't running around the place though and were well behaved but nevertheless children were allowed in.

Also there were many big parties on Monday. Can you not print out the information from the website because it actually says in their terms and conditions that it is a maximum of 8.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed it and hopefully another freebie will come along soon. :T

  • I also went last night, my friend booked for the four of us - and we had a great time. The food was lovely, drinks prices were average price, and the service was excellent. We will definately be going again. What great PR for the company :)
