Has anyone else had their mortgage accounts taken over by Ferro Finance UK Limited? I had a mortgage with Advantage, who were owned by the Morgan Stanley Group, but now my account is with Ferro and Crown Mortgage Services run the admin side of things. Just wondered if anyone else knew anything about them and who owns them so to speak?! I've googled them and nothing at all comes up for Ferro...

Has anyone heard of these people? I'm a little concerned as I can't find anything on Google about them and no-one on here has heard of them either... sureley someone else on here was with Morgan Stanley too?

Ive not had dealings with Ferro. I would guess they are just like Capstone....a company who deals with administering the day to day running of the mortgage.

I wouldnt worry, the conditions of the mortgage will be the same as when you took it out.

Thanks, the admin side is being ran by Crown who I have found o nteh web and they seem to be reputable.

One reason I ask about Ferro is that since they have taken over from Morgan Stanly, nothing has been reported on my credit file (since April). In fact, the Morgan Stanley account is showing as satisfied now as though it was paid off.

So, if anyone searched me right now it looks like I have no mortgage. I assume they'll start reporting soon - my question is - will they add the months that were missed or will they simply carry on from the latest month if you get what I mean?

I wouldnt worry...Halifax have never reported anything on my mortgage to my credit file in years. They dont have to if they dont want to!

If you ever need proof of payments then your mortgage statement will be fine for this.

this would suggest that morgan Stanley have sold your loan to another party (i.e Ferro). Crown are the mortgage servicer and will be responsible for taking your payments and the accounting on the mortgage.

They are a good outfit, i've woked with them in the past and know some people there personally.

Does anybody have any details for Ferro Finance UK PLC such as phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses?

They owe me alot of money and all I can find on the net is their address to which I've been writing to for the past 4 months with no reply!
