Opinions Please - Traveling while on DMP

Hi Guys,
I'm currently on a DMP via Payplan.
I have an opportunity next year to go traveling with a friend. I'm talking about taking three months to go to Australia & USA.
My Parents would be willing to fund my travels. They have said that they will not pay anything towards my debts. As that's my own doing (fair enough).
My ponderence is regarding my DMP. At my current rate of saving & payments via DMP. I should be in a position to pay my debts off in about a years time.
Do you think I should go with my friend? I would be able to continue paying my DMP while I am away.
My only concern is what if my creditors push for a CCJ etc while I am away.
Let me know your thoughts.

As long as you're paying your debts by SO then I don't see why they'd have to know you were out of the country if it's only three months.
Also, will your parents keep an eye on your mail and be able to contact you if something urgent happens? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
That shouldn't be a problem.
I'm just concerned about dealing with CCJ etc. Would I be able to sort that out over the phone with Payplan? If it came to that.
I don't think my creditors would even norice as I've been paying my DMP for over two years now with no problems.Debt free May 20110 -
I'm not sure if you have to attend court for a CCJ should that occur.

id say go! if you have been paying dmp with no probs for 2 years i cant see much happening in the 3months you will be away? if they did go for ccj if you have someone opening your mail couldnt they contact you? prob better if you were there to attend thou, but maybe you could just say you were away on business and could court case be ajourned?(maybe not for 3months so lets hope they dont g for a ccj at the beginning of your travels!)0
