I have about 6-months left before I need to remortgage a BTL. My current rate is 5.63% variable then moving to SVR currently 7%

Valuation £500k, outstanding mortgage £390k and rent £2430 pcm.
I was wondering what is currently available and fees.

6.69% Tracker for 3 years with a £4,000 arrangement fee.

6.39% Tracker for 3 years with a £8,000 arrangment fee.

If you can get away with your property being worth £520,000 then:

6.59 % Tracker for 3 years with a £295 arrangement fee.

6.09% Tracker for 3 years with £8,000 arrangement fee.

I have been told mortgage interest rates are predicted to fall and have been falling with some lenders. I see oil prices have fallen recently which would indicate interest rates on hold this month and maybe for a few more months. Do you anticipate mortgage interest rates will fall more this year?

What are fixed rate mortgages doing i.e >3 year fixed?
