Contact ACAS as they will give you chapter and verse on the law, plus will give you guidance of what to say to get them to comply.

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advise on my issue...

I am a teenager and worked at McDonald's for a few months - I have now left. Over the months I had earned about £200 holiday pay which I could have at anytime I needed it. They released £95 of my holiday pay when I took a short holiday for exams in January. However, when I left my holiday pay was still at roughly £105.

I have been trying to get this back as I earnt this money but they are doing everything they can to avoid speaking to me about it.

I have called many times and gone into the restaurant a few times but the main manager I need to speak to is always out or avoiding me.

Where do I stand? What should be my next move?

Any help is much appreciated

Call their area manager and write a letter to Macdonalds to complaint about the manager.

You could go in and when told manager is not there say "OK, I'll wait!" One coffee / milkshake can last a long time ...

But I think writing to head office might work faster.
