It depends entirely on how they operate at your court.
Some have a drop in service, next day, some a wait of 1 week, others have waiting lists of up to 2 months.
Which is your court, if we know where you're going we'll be able to guide you further.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Hi jimm24
From the date of your court hearing it takes a max of 12 months. If your affairs are straightforward then you could be discharged early, say around 6 months.0 -
As peachy says as soon as you see the judge you are bankrupt. So effectivley the day of your appointment in court.
The judge I saw said "Mr X, as from 10:46 today you are officailly bankrupt.""Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

They're pretty good at Romford, if you phone this week you should be able to get an appointment next week, I think they only book 2 weeks in advance so it's never too long to wait.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

They are all nice and friendly there.
I was really nervous but there was no need, they guided me all the way with a smile.0
