This is supposed to be about moneysaving and instead we're all enabling each other  . Oh well I'm as guilty as the rest of you. I should know better than to read the thread in the first place.

I suppose my intention was to get the heads up as to what will be popular and be in there at the start, pricewise. Pre-ordering can help with much sought after items. Wii consoles were selling way above rrp last xmas. Don't want us to be caught out if it can be prevented :D

Of course the most moneysaving way to deal with xmas is to 'Bah humbug' and not bother. Many people find that too bleak a prospect though.;)

    - oops should say Rubiks cube

Woolies were quoted as saying this was on their top ten list this year - no batteries, cheaper than other toys, making kids think....they said it ticked all the boxes

for me (who played it first time round), bloody annoying, could never get more than 2 sides to match, extremely frustrating even after I used my pocket money to buy a solutions book...

This new cube is on the hot list:

I think this year, considering the fuss over the Wii, it will have to be Wii Fit and the new Family Trainer- outdoor challenge. As someone else has mentioned it comes with a dance mat type of thing. I have just pre- ordered mine from Amazon for £35.00. ( I am so sad I pre-order everything, but at least I got my Wii fit on the first day):j

tried to find this whats it called or have you got a link?

it's just like a very very small touchscreen computer! So if you think of it like that, £150 for a computer is very cheap ;)
Still going to get my parents one though. Will have to get my dad a jigsaw too because my mum will hog it for awhile.
