Thanks!!!FREEBIES/WINS SO FAR: Urban cricket set, 10 perfumes, ring-sizer, toilet 'hippo' water saver, 3xWii remote jackets, various music downloads,

not sure if this is the reight board to post - but will chance it!
it is possible to receive free items from ebay if you are prepared to travel to collect in person. just run advanced search and select relevant criteria - i usually limit to 10 miles of where i live and check collect in person.
i have had some decent stuff off there
as someone once said "one mans rubbish is another mans treasure"
good luck any questions just shout
what is it that you type into advanced search as i cant seem to bring any free stuff up, thanks0 -
to reeree - advanced search and look for category that allows you to specify free p & p or collect in person, now scroll down and limit miles to say 25 of where u live - alternativelt let http://www.localbargainfinder.co.uk/ do it for you - simply enter your postcode omitting spaces - happy hunting.0

do ebay charge the 'seller', for these free listings? cant see it being worthwhile, with freecycle etc around-
the freecycle.org site gives you details of local groups, most of which seem to be setup on yahoo groups now.. dont know if/how itworked before this.
btw, i have seen some items offered 'free to collect' in local friday-ad !Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Hi there, have you tried myskip.com. There seems to have been alot of items for everyone. I have just found a secondhand kitchen.
Happy days
do you need to be a member to search?
how can you search for everything in your area?Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.

There is a small insertion fee to pay - up to about 20p, and then ebay also take a percentage of any final value that it "sells" for. 20p is a small price to pay for the huge exposure that eBay can offer.
What normally happens though is that once the item has been collected, the buyer and seller will mutually agree to cancel the sale, so the seller gets their final value fees back.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
myskip site doesnt have a UK section running, yet?Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
