Tesco Mega Reductions Thread 2

You have to look for this one.

Tesco has pulled another fast one by reducing the size and increasing the prices of its frozen chicken Thighs

now they are £4.00 per kilo - before they where £2.98 for 1.3 Kilos.

They are selling off the old 1.3 K bags at half price £1.49 but they are not advertising it. I just found another 4 bags at the bottom of the freezer - so if you want chicken thighs look for the red 1.3 K bag and get it much cheaper - I currently have 12 bags in the Freezer and I look for more on every Tesco Visit.

This also applies to the Frozen Drumsticks and the Frozen chicken Breasts

This is the one to watch out for in Tesco as they are constantly raising their prices by reducing the pack size - the value chicken pieces (was £3.19 for 2.5 Kilos - now they are £4.00 for 2 Kilos).

Constantly lowering prices - oh know they are not...

These are coming up at 59p online and if I try to add them to basket it freezes and says error on page.....

They were full price on the shelf in my tesco yesterday whereas they had been 5p so think that offer is finished. I should have bought more!

I bet if you look at the new ones the BB date will be later that December 2008.
I bought some for 5p and are BB September 2008

also beware ordering online as I ordered tapioca at 5p (Ithink might have been 6p) but when I looked at my tesco.com order it was 59p and that's the price online now!!
