OT: Rare Faulty £5 Note

Years ago you may remember this.....
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/global/main.jhtml?xml=/global/2002/05/28/nfive28.xml
It was a run of faulty £5 notes that the serial numbers would rub off with a wipe of a finger.
Most got recalled before entering circulation, but I managed to get hold of one, and put it away in a safe place.
Now 6 years on, I have just found it...
Do you think it may be worth more than the £5 face value??
For a collector I would think it maybe worth more???
Any ideas guys, worth keeping??

Hi
My brother is a collector of old banknotes. He has a few misprints etc and a "forged" white £50 note which he has found out is worth more than the genuine article. Something to do with Germany forging notes during the war.
Anyway, I would certainly hold on to it and if you "google" Bank Note Dealers you might find some more info. Some of them will do a valuation if you take a photograph or send it registered mail.
It's a lot more complicated then you would think - It goes on the quality of the note, (there is about 6 grades) the cashiers signature and loads of other stuff.
I took 2 old bank notes I knew to be worth around £150 to a local "collectors" shop out of curiosity and he asked what I wanted for them - I said I didn't know anything about them and he offered me £15 for the pair. He even said they were very fine quality.
