Any advice on where to get an MOT done in Edinburgh where i wont get ripped off:o Usually just book into Arnold Clarke, but since becoming a bit more savvy thought i would ask some advice:D Thanks in advance.

If you can get hold of last Saturdays Sun there was a voucher for a half price MOT from Nationwide Autocentre.
Unfortunately Ive threw mines out as we dont have one here0 -
I use Metro on Lower Granton Road, they are brillant, £35 and the last 2 times there has been things wrong and they have fixed it with no extra charge then passed it for me! £35 all in. xx0/2013

use the local council MOT centres.
they're not allowed to repair, only pass/fail, so you may well have to pay the £25 retest fee (if it fails), but then again, you're almost 100% certain they won't lie0 -

do not use them , they will by all means give you a half price mot and try and sting you for the repairs ..22864 quid and counting , but now proud to be dealing with it :j
