They have 2 packs of 800mAh AA and AAA batteries too, I did get one pack, but didn't think they were so bargainous, because they were only 800mAh.
I bought one of them chargers but the lights never seems to change. after 5 days of being connected to my computer still showing red, batteries where 2500mAh the pc has a feature which leaves usb charging on even when pc is off, used the feature to recharge my mp3 player when pc is off so i know that has power. so 24hrs x 5 and still charging with no signs of changing color. checked with a battery tester yesterday and today and the bar is in exactly the same position.
decided to use my uniross AA charger instead and still charging after 12hrs. I should really get a voltage meter reader.
on the back of the charger. MODEL: MC-216N
input 5VDC 500mA
output : AA 1/2x1.65VDC 150mA
AAA 1/2x1/65VDC 150mA0 -
They had at the weekend clean and clear deep action cream wash,

I haven't run the batteries I bought out yet, I put them in a clock which is still going, so I have not tried the charger yet. Sounds like it may not be bargain after all, thanks for the warning.
I do have a voltage meter I could test the charger with (I think), but no idea how to use it! Any ideas how you would test that safely? So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

I got Twiglets today - 2 bags for 99p. I think they are about £2 a bag in Sainsburys. I hate the things but Mr shoe and the boys are addicts so we go through loads of them.0

do you mean with the charger or the batteries ?, on the batteries i would make sure the voltage is in mAh on the voltage meter, and then put the red on the + and the black lead on the -, same thing with the charger, red + and black on -, with the charger connected to usb, this would then give you the output voltage in mAh of the charger, which you could then work out how long it would take to charge the batteries.
Well the batteries i used finally finished charging after i put them in the uniross charger at 2am this morning, which was 8hrs after taking them out of the usb charger which they had been in for 5 days.
the batteries have on them 2500 so i assume that 2500mAh so assuming that the charger as it says is 150mA, 2500mAh / 150 = number of hrs to charge using calculator says
16.66666recurring, so it should have charged them completely in 17hrs, but on the charger the red light stayed on even after 5days, and then it took another 9hrs for that light to go off. The uniross charger states, aa 2x2.8v 285-320mA 0.896VA as the batteries i was charging were AA.
assuming you mean this as a voltmeter http://ebay.prnc.net/voltmeter.htm

this page is better http://www.ladyada.net/learn/multimeter/voltage.html
i should really test my batteries with one of these as i have been running/charging them for around 2years now.0 -
Thanks very much indeed to the info andy2004, I have been promising myself I would learn how to use the meter for a while now and this has given me a project to learn on. The meter is identical to the one in your first link.
I was going to have a go at testing the batteries this evening, then realised the battery in the multimeter was flat, but I will get another and let you know how i get onSo so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

They had some in Northampton yesterday but to be honest I did not take a lot of notice as to what varieties they were. They were all on a racking and you could see the brown stem poking out the top of the cardboard!!No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
£1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

This morning, I found lots of Hello Kitty Pen sets - there are four ballpoint pens (red, blue, green and black) and a mechanical pencil. The pens come in a sweet case. I thought they would be great to go with the best friends' doodle books I picked up a couple of weeks ago!
The Hello Kitty pen sets are on WHSmith's website for £5.99
