My local 99p store had metal buckets/tins (think bucket and spade type bucket) with a handle in three designs: Disney Princess, Hannah Montana and Spiderman. Decent size about 10-12 inches tall. Be great for using to make childs gift hamper.

The party candle worked perfectly and the kids loved it its a shame its one use. Be warned you have to push the candle into the top of the cake itself it goes in about 1-2cm so go for a cake with nothing fancy or hard to move on the top. We just covered the base in clingfilm as we didn't fancy it just sitting in the cake.

If these are the ones where you light the bit in the midde, it starts sparling, lights the 8 small candles inside, they petals then drop and it plays happy birthday?....they are £3.99 in non stop party shops :)

oh, yes I got one of these, it didn't play Happy Birthday though. The petals fly open really quickly, frightened the life out of my mum :D
