I wanna CCTV system

Right, i need advice.

I do the maintenance for the block of flats I live in, and we've bene having some trouble recently at one of our entrances. I'd like a CCTV system with cameras at three places in the building. The problem is that these places are quite a long way apart (hundreds of metres of cabling required). I also don't want to be messing with tapes more than say once per week.

The most appealing solution is one of them wireless setups which would record to a PC somewhere, but I think the walls might be a bit thick for wireless to work well. So where's a good place to get this stuff, or to get more advice on a system?
