Can you not tell your DMP company your situation and tell them you need the money to see the solicitor and make a lower payment to your creditors this month?
Can you not tell your work you need time off to see the solicitor - just in case he is not going to leave of his own accord?

Think you have done the right thing. I handed my house back to Bradford & Bingley years ago, as i knew it would be reposessed anyway and i got landed with a £12k bill a year or so later, even though they sold the house for more than i owed on it! Best of luck hope the sale goes through and the EX leaves ASAP. Hugs to you x

have you thought about just paying the interest on the mortgage my mortgage is also due this month for a £200 rise I am hoping I can cope with it but if I am struggling loads I will ask to pay just the interest payment which will reduce the payment by £200 it's got to be better than losing the house if you really want to stay there or it would at least bide you some time to sell it on your own terms.
Make £5 a day in May total so far £2
