Want to shout about how good that book you just finished was?
Like a two-way online library, 'Read it, Swap it' enables you to list and trade your used books with other members for free, earning 'swap ratings' and books you haven't yet read.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you're like me and have tonnes of books lieing around and think it's not worth flogging them on ebay, why not swap them for books that you want.
I found this link in one of the weekend papers and I thought I'd give it a try.
Read It Swap It is free to use, all you have to do is list the books you're offering to swap, and set up a wishlist of books you'd like (although you don't have to do this bit.) If someone wants a book you're offering, they'll send you a swap request, you then look at their list and if there's a book you'd like you can choose to swap or turn the request down. Or you can browse for books and ask for a swap. It only costs the p+p of you sending the book.
I registered today and I've already swapped 2 books - fingers crossed the swap goes smoothly0 -

There is also a site called Green Metropolis. You sell your book for 3.00 and only add postage if your book is bigger than your standard paperback. You can save your money and buy books from other people if you like or have it transfered into your bank.0
