It looks like with a little trimming you could break even. Also try keeping a spennding diary to see where money is being wasted. Oh and defnitiely try and eat properly - that's a priority - you won't be able to tackle the debts if you are not looking after yourself.
Have you looked at the up your income board to see if there are any ways you can make a little extra cash when you are free - maybe surveys etc?
    Anyway good luck

hi i think the best way forward would be to get a loan to pay off the debt

This is not good advice! Loans don't help in a very high percentage of people

Hi Gemmzie - try not to feed the new troll, please.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • My rating isn't very good at the moment, so I can't get new 0% cards, altho I have just finished one of those on one card.

I have been looking around the boards, instead of getting ready for work... and am going to give myself £20 a week to buy food which should be more than enough although fruit and veg isn't cheap! I will just have to think ahead and plan a bit more carefully! I do love to cook so I should get more involved in making bulk meals and freezing them, etc.

Thanks for all your help and advice. I know a loan isn't the way to go, I've been there, done that, got more in debt.

    xx
