OR Interviews

OH and I had our OR interviews today. Went okay. OR confirmed both cars are exempt as we need them for work and they are under the threshold. We went over other items. We mentioned that we bought our daughter a laptop and various other items of expenditure over the last year. He didn't say whether he was going to take these or not though. Would he have mentioned he was going to take them in the interview?

Also, if OR is thinking about BRU/BRO, would he have mentioned that in the interview or will he write to us about this?

Anyway, am very glad interviews are over as was very nervous about them. Will celebrate with a drink tonight (two bottles of Lambrini on offer for £3 at local shop).

  • Glad things went ok for you. I am sure the OR would have mentioned it if there was a possibility of a BRU/BRO. In my interview she told me straight away that she didn't intend to issue one.

Tend not to get BRO/BRU mentioned at first interview. The examiner writes up the case, and makes recommendations, then goes to AOR to agree or not. If agree further investigation needed, goes to a higher level examiner to gather evidence to support a BRO/BRU - though most fail as banks/credit cards never send copy statements :D

Don't worry about it, from my experience BR's tend to be redundancy/ill health/ relationship breakdown - and not the person's own fault.

And which shop has the Lambrini on offer??
  • It's the One Stop shops around here
