    I've been Money Tipped!

I have sent things back to debenhams via freepost returns label which is usually a sticker on dispatch form in package, it is small but you do not need to go to store-HTH for future purchases :)

I bet it doesn't work on beauty items :(

I ordered some foot cream as a present before christmas with 10% off and it arrived so damaged! I couldn't possibly given it as a gift so went to John Lewis and bought the same thing but with 15% off! Then took the other cream back to Debenhams and got my money back! Annoying that they make you go to their stores to take things back, if thats not possible they make you ring them at your expense and it will probably cost you to send it back anyway! I can't always get to Debenhams as I don't live near one.. nearest one is 1 hour away & I don't have my own transport.

When I took it the Bristol store to return, there was a big queque on ground floor so I took it to the 1st floor till and asked a girl there to return it.. I said that I'd bought it online and she said that it wasn't possible there and i'd have to go to the top floor as there was a special desk for online returns. I thought that was a bit strange as I thought you could return at any till.

When I got to the top floor, I asked another SA there and she was most helpful and I told her what the other girl on the 1st floor had said and asked where the "special online desk" was.. she said there wasn't one and I could return at any till! The girl on the other floor obviously had the wrong idea and was just afraid to return my item or something! Weird! Bit annoying I had to go all the way the store though, bit of a waste of time.

    Sorry Mini Debenhams rant over!

Does the courier who delivers the item not leave a return phone number so that you can ring them and they pick it up and return to store for free. All it costs me is a local rate number and she will pick it up on what day and where I tell her I will leave it.

As said by other people here, it's actually very easy to return stuff to Debs, full instructions are on the delivery note, and it's free.

Ordered one full price item at £15 and two sale items for £7.50 and TH96 took £3.60 off :) One sale item was £3 so it took 20% off that too.

Trying to order some jewellery and can't get any codes to work. Anyone else found this?
  • I ordered a silver star necklace that featured on the grabbit forum and the TH96 code worked for me.

I ordered a full price umbrella, candle plate (Butterfly Matthew Williamson) on sale, and a Ben De Lisi bangle on sale, and the code worked on the first two but not the third.
