Any Debenhams Codes around??

Hi. Appologies if you already know about this, and of course you'll have to wait for the next 2-day sale to occur to get the benefit of this but:

When buying in Debenhams on Saturday I commented that a friend would have bought a handbag but she couldn't get to town and the sale was only 2 days long, and a till superviser told me the following:

If you buy anything with the store discount applied, then returned it for an exchange within 28 days, the original discount would be applied to the new item......so I bought a pair of socks on Saturday, with a 20% discount, returned them on Sunday (after the sale) and exchanged them for a Radley handbag, paying the extra, but with 20% discount applied to the bag.

Interestly the til operator didn't know about this but when she called the superviser over she applied the discount, saved my friend £31!

It's instore when there is a spectacular on not a discount code. They seem to have them regularly these days.

That's very interesting, I didn't know that.

Would this apply to stuff bought online with the 20% disount. What about stuff that is discounted 10% eg cosmetics, would you get 10% off that also? I could be wrong, but weren't Radley discounted by 30% last weekend?

be wary if using a code online on top of discounts - if you do decide to swap items in store you are liable to pay the 10% that was additionally deducted offline IYSWIM

Haven't tried to use it, but Debenhams codes are case sensitive.

The Radley bags were 30% off but this was a 'hot offer' and these are not honoured in the 28 day price promise. The discount honoured for the Radley handbags will be 20% as that is what the discount was on other handbags.
