self employed (tax on selling own items)

hi guys dident kno were to put this one having a huge clear out(a few large items weight bench n stuff) to make cash to put to the mort as im self employed how would a few hundred look with no recipt to the tax man any ideas?? thanks kazzys

    If the items belong to you already, then you don't need to declare the 'income' to HMRC. If you have bought them with the purpose of selling them to make a profit, then you do.
