Tuesday 5/08/08 What small dfw things have you done today???
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will:

Morning All,
Loki, hope you enjoyed the truffles if you've made them.
Today I am working 9-5 (what a way to make a living!) so am hoping for a 2nd NSD.- I have just taken my bread from breadmaker (left it on over night)

- Kids are going to their other grannies today so they'll lunch for free!
- Will do another 25 competitions
- Check Pigsback
- Check online banking
- Check spreadsheets
- Going away for the weekend this weekend, so have got £32.76 in my purse and hoping that will get me to Friday and still be able to put £20 in the car for the Petrol for the weekend away - I CAN DO IT!
- Another small DFW thing I have done today is persuaded my oldest son Kaleb (6) to go and try on Tesco's school shoes for £8 rather than the usual £32 Clarks Zooms and he has agreed - so a saving of £24 :T
- Will bake another loaf in breadmaker tonight for tomorrow's sandwiches.
