Hi Shelly. Thanks lot for all that info. I think I'll soon be trawling around all the specs. online sites! I'd like to put a nice smiley THANK YOU but I'm new to posting and haven't worked out how to do that yet, I'm afraid. Anyway, thanks a lot - I'm sure I'm going to save lots of money on my new specs.

I personally can recommend http://www.goggles4u.com/ this is where I got my latest pair of specs from and they do all the free coatings. (I don't know if there are any other sites do free coatings, it might be worth you checking that out. Usually though you are charged for the coatings)

The specs come from IIRC India or Pakistan and mine took a little over a week to arrive from ordering.

Thanks Shelly, will try that site. I'll also try not to sit on them(which is my usual trick!) in light of your comment about them possibly not lasting long - but then again, neither do £400 ones !!

Yep, if you sit on them none will last long

For $26 I guess it doesn't matter.
