I posted a similar thread in the tech forum, also with little response. The vp d101 can be had for £117 ( sorry trade only ) but having read your post thats not a brilliant bargain as the d103 is only £43 more but I dont know the difference.
Very few reviews on google about these samsungs.
    Please someone help

On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

Well I've ordered one at that price, replace my ageing canon 8mm, although I hardly use it these days.

I also found nothing on google, so I'll let you know how it goes, I do know this one has a still camera use with a memory stick for images!

Wonder if anyone else has ordered one given that now over 800 people have viewed this.

If you check google there are reviews of the cameras in question from when they were new on the market

Can you point me towards one of the reviews please :T I found one on camcorders.info but that only gave outline basics, I know I have one coming but I still like to know before it arrives! I actually never usually buy before a review and at least 2 nights of research ;), just thought I couldn't pass this one up!

I bought a Samsung VP-D20 Digital Camcorder in Aug 04 when it was on offer with Boots. Think I paid about £159 with an extra £30 of Boots points too.

We've been really pleased with it. Very compact and good quality picture and sound.

I seen one on http://www.macuser.co.uk and there was one on another site too but I can seem to find it again
  • if you are looking at buying the Panasonic NV-GS35B check out the Jessops website not only was it cheaper there, but free delivery and 3 year protection for an extra £55 was a bargain, much cheaper than in the shops!
