I also managed to get one from zavvi. Ordered it on the 28th August,was dispatched on the 30th and arrived today. it says its out of stock now...but keep trying.
Its not a site which is offered on the wii-consoles for some reason. but fast service

ive managed to reserve one at argos ilford, means an hours drive but it should be worth it! they still have more avaliable according to the net!

Zavvi does not appear on all the stock checker sites as they don't pay commission to affiliates for Wii Fit Sales.

The balance board is not region specific but the game is. It may be cheaper to buy a Japanese or US version of the game which won't play on a UK system, and then either flog the game on or bin it.

However the Japanese balance board is only capable of (I think) 19stone, whereas the UK/ US one can cope with up to 23stone. Not wishing to imply you are heavy but just as a FYI

If I do manage to luck out at Zavvi or HMV, or even Argos...are the orders limited to one?

I don't get how they're still so elusive. This is like the Wii all over again...and it took 18 months before that was widely available!

i got lucky and got one from argos in ipswich today! i have a reservation code for ilford if anyone wants it but only valid until 5.30 so you'll need to be quick!

I managed to get one from HMV in Brighton today am really happy. I also have one reserved in Toys r Us in Hove which should be arriving on friday and they will only hold until the end of the working day so if anyone in my area wants the reserved one (if and when it happens) just pm me.
