I just tried the number and was told it was in stock and delivery was two days then it went out of stock - If only she had hit the button to buy that second or two earlier.

Oh Well the search continues

i just rang, there out of stock but on order the lady said to try again in 3-5 days time.

This is all so bizarre. I rang just to see what the score was about 10 minutes ago, and mine is being delivered on Wednesday morning. Thanks manda_manda for the excellent tip-off!

I was able to get one ordered within 12 hours from Amazon.co.uk last week at £69.99.

Sign up for the alerts and you have to be quick (i.e checkout within 1 min so always have your details handy!). Leave the page open when browsing (minimized) and you will get a pop-up and audible ring when in stock.

Stock normally sells out within minutes!

Just to let everyone know - I have just telephoned Argos (on the home delivery number 08456402020, giving item number 568/5970 as suggested in the earlier post) and they had stock. Delivery is within 2 days.

I have been trying for 2 months - thank you so much for your help!
