Wii fit - Stock/where to buy

The Argos site comes up with that for me too. Tried to use the 'text me when it's in stock' service today.

They sent me 5 texts saying 'This service cannot be used for Wii Fit'.

Lol. Get the message Argos :rolleyes:

I went for the family ski package at Game, which was the cheapest one I could find (the wii fits on their own were selling out in seconds and i always missed them).

Unfortunately I already had family ski! So hey if anyone wants a family ski then come see me!! lol.

Argos at Meadowhall in Sheffield have some in stock for online reservation.

aargh - have been looking and using stock checkers for 2 weeks now, off and on and still no luck. Check argos separately every day too. Is anyone else getting an error message on the argos page where it has a red X for out of stock? This started a couple of days ago, it was fine before. It has the red x too.

Mine now says packing too...and not before time! We ordered this 2 weeks ago and when I ordered mine it was showing in stock..something should be done about companies that trick you into ordering with them when they don't actually have enough items to cover what they are selling

Just tried Argos on 08456403030 and was told by the automated message that I can't reserve this item. Grrr!!!!

Think they have to be in stock at the store you are looking at to reserve them. It's all a matter of luck methinks to phone at just the right time. I phoned last night about 6pm(?) and was amazed to hear they were in stock!!!!! Looked on the website later and out of stock at my local store but in stock at my next nearest store. Why not call into Argos & ask what time they get deliveries & then phone or check internet shortly after? Good luck!!!!!

You have obviously ben lucky - all 10 stores in the vicinity of me have none through either website or phone at various times tried.
In principle it all sounds so simple but you cannot speak to a store directly - you get sent in a mammoth circle even when ringing a local store number that eventually ends you up back with - cannot reserve!

I even have a reservation number given to me for one some 25+ miles away but can I ring to check its definately available before setting out on a possibly wasted journey - no! So I think I'm going to chance it but it could just be petrol money down the drain if they deny it or say its not possible since no reservations are being taken!
