After trying for over 7 weeks to get one of these for my wife's birthday in a weeks time, i managed to bag one online at ToysRus about five minutes ago...

Funny thing was if i couldn't get one today, I was going to get her something else tomorrow...

    Thanks Wii Fit Checker site!!
  • Thanks for the HMV tip. Have been trying for ages but called HMV in Bracknell earlier and they had some in stock. They wouldn't put one by so raced over there and grabbed one for £69.99. Not sure how many they have left but may be worth a try if you're local and quick!
  • How do you reserve one at Argos? I've tried online, I've tried phoning 0845 6401010 but I just end up in a loop.

  • HMV Lakeside are expecting 16 at about 1.30, but people are already in store waiting!
  • Hope this helps someone, the OH has just picked one up at ASDA living in Lincoln, they have a few left

  • Got an Argos reservation code for Richmond (SW London) which expires at 6.30 today. Don't need it myself as I managed to pick one up yesterday.

Mail me and I'll let you have it.

My local HMV state that any Wii Fit's that do arrive are for customers who have paid the full amount in advance so they are fulfilling their waiting list first, not sure if all the other stores do this but worth a try.

Surely it isn't that hard to get one???
I went out to my local town centre, went into Game where they were expecting a delivery, returned there 30mins later and got one. They weren't reserving for anyone, so you just had to be there early.

I also went into gamestation to see if they had stock but they only had one package left (wii fit, yoga mat, extra battery & Wii console for £249) and it was reserved for someone, but if I called at 930 the next day, they would see what stock they had and reserve me one from their delivery.

If you really want one and have the time to go out, its worth getting up early and hitting all the shops. After 930 is the best sort of time. Although, whilst shopping in Kingston Bentalls centre yesterday I saw a boy with a gleaming smile coming down the escalator with wii fit in hand at around 2:30.

I think a lot of people would disagree! There's so many people on here that have been looking for ages and can't get hold of one! You must be lucky and in the right place at the right time! :o
