MFI / Tesco Clubcard Deals

Options
Just a warning to all of those people out there who have been collecting Tesco Clubcard points for MFI goods.

Keep an eye on your items via the Internet.

After buying mountains of Beef in Gravy I have enough points for my MFI tables and chairs .

Well you can imagine my horror when on the website this week my table has vanished. I called customer services who told me that the table has been discontinued

I asked if they knew anywhere that still had stock and surprise surprise they didn't .

I knew that a store near me had one on display but upon checking with them they had sold it already .

As a last resort I then called pratically every store within a 25 mile radius and have managed to track a display model down :j .The only reason it was still there was because the manager said he hadn't got the memo telling him to sell it off .I did manage to get it reduced but couldn't use my vouchers as I don't have them yet.

The manager was saying though that it is very common for MFI head office to discontinue products and kitchens etc without warning. They are always doing it.
So if you are after something, untill you get those precious vouchers in the post I would check their website every couple of days.

Anyone know if you can "buy now pay April" and pay in April with clubcard deals?
I'm not necessarily thinking of that, but I just wondered.

    TIA

It seems that paying by vouchers excludes you from offers available to others. This is particularly noticeable with the holidays, where discounts on offer in brochures or on websites are not applicable to those paying with vouchers.

Also, on a "buy now pay April" you are actually taking out a loan from a finance company on which interest becomes payable if you do not make the payment in time. The finance company will not take your vouchers in payment so you can only use them at the point of sale.
