Saw a "pink" coloured DVD player in Superdrug exclusive - for £24.99 - They have a plain one for £20 - will have to check later but brand may be Akura - anyone had one of these before from Superdrug or know detailed specs - it seems to play + and - DVD ?
Thinking of getting a cheap spare player.

yes, I think it was blue in the store and silver but there is a pink on the Superdrug site homepage but little else of information. . I would much prefer silver or blue to Pink.-0 -

I just got one in Sainsburys - their "Red" brand - smaller portable for just £17.99 - "clearance" plays "most" common file types including photo Jpeg which the Superdrug one does't say it will.
They had larger ones with built in display for 24.99
Am trying it out now. If I don't like it it can go back but it seems very good for the price.

The Superdrug one is an Amuseer - I'm quite happy with the Red Sainsbury's one so far - It's only a spare - I also have a Yamada which plays most things - but the Red being portable - can use it anywhere. Can use it show presentations for my teaching as well.
Not long ago we would have thought a CD player for £18 was a bargain. Now we get DVD,mp3, CD, RW all in.0
