I saw large tins, like 500g maybe? of Del Monte fruit cocktail in syrup for 59p at the Allerton Road store.
They also still do Pataks curry sauces for 59p and their tikka masala is honestly the best I have ever tasted.0 -

Hi, I used to live in Bedford where there are no Home Bargains shops nearby, but on this forum I've hear so much about it!
Now I've moved to Birmingham and there must be one there. Could anybody tell me where the home bargains store in Birmingham is?
Is there one in Cape Hill retail park by the big Asda and Matalan or am I thinking of something else? Website says theres one in Harbourne but no idea where that is
Any info would be much appreciated as it sounds like a great store and i feel im missing out!!

There are two that I know of, Harbourne and Perry Barr. If you look at a map on Birmingham, Harbourne is to the SW and Perry Barr the NE.
I've only ever been to the Perry Barr one though, it's at the One Stop Shopping Centre, and has lots of bus routes going to it, so maybe check the Travel West Midlands Website.
If you drive there's one just outside Wolverhampton, Aldridge and one in Walsall (all drivable unless you're on the south of the city, and Harbourne would be your best bet if you are).0 -

BTW, your location is still showing as "Bedfordshire" so you might want to update your profile now you're a Brummy.
