'Home Bargains' Finds - Thread 3.

Hi,

Just checking whether Home bargains is what used to be called quality save? If so I have checked on their website and there is no store listed in Sale (Cheshire nr manchester). Does anyone know if the sale store is still there? We used to live there (have moved to scotland now) and are visiting at the weekend and would love to pick up a few bargains for the kids Christmas presents.

They had one in Huddersfield on Monday(no price ticket tho), plus a few full size acoustics for £39.99 I think and junior acoustics for £19.99 if I remember correctly. The electric one came with a practice amplifier too.

Bought the Typhoon tea set in Burnley yesterday, but was £4.99 on shelf edge and through the till, other branches it seems to be £2.99. Still a bargain but thought all branches were the same price

they had them in power rangers blue and green and spiderman in black or silver at ravensthorpe
for £1.99, i got the silver spiderman one for my ds stocking

i also got the glade candle which turns to oil for £1.99 and came with 2 candles although i wont be buying refils as they dont last long and i couldnt smell it

i went to northfield and got a mdf toilet seat for 5.99, a disney digital themometer for 1.49, disney bottle and bottle washer 99p each plus an airfreshner thingy with reeds 1.99 and an airwick plug in for 1.99, only went in for beechams 3 in 1 (2.99) and forgot the loo roll:eek:

I got the thermometer recently, but it reads in farenheit, and I don't, doh.

can i just check you paid £2.99 for the teaset and cups/saucers as i've just brought one from coalville hb and looked on reciptand i've been charged £4.99
