Bought one of these today - was only 2.99 in HB in Jarrow. Haven't tried it out yet though. Doesn't need replacement filters either, as the filter is washable.0 -

I wouldn't say it was noisy - it sounds like a desk fan on very low.
HB is Home Bargains. Doesn't look like there's a store near Epsom though:
