I think I've seen them in Cape Hill branch. If you're brave enough to venture down here:rotfl:

Forgot about that one !!! Have been there a few times as peackocks and matalan are always good to mooch in !!!

Did have an "incident" with a woman in asda who argued with me for moving her empty trolly to one side to look at the cards...i actually thought it was mine and apologised but she was not having any of it !!!!

  • Boston today and I am presuming other stores, have Sarah Jane Adventures toys (Dr Who) SJ and Graske, or Slitheen child, or someone else name escapes me and a double pack that includes the sonic lipstick. £1.99 each this is an astonishing price as they are anything up to £20 in other places and even on Characters website they are still a fiver.
    Loving the dtd thread. x

Does anyone else here use the Alfreton branch? It's bigger and much better than the other HB stores in the region (namely Sutton and Mansfield). I've not been in for a couple of weeks now - anything worth knowing about? Thanks.

Actually got to the Bridgend branch today!!!
    - Batchelors savoury rice 39p (Tesco 52p)
    - Stardrops 65p (last paid 79p in Sainsburys)
    - Oxy ultra plus 89p (at least 10p dearer in Tesco)
    - 4 pack fairy soap 79p (in case I meet a dirty fairy?)
    - 4 retro pastel bowls in a smart box £1.99

Best bargain I saw was the retro-styled scales, £6.99 in various pastel colours plus bright red. They looked like this:
    http://www.amazon.com/Typhoon-Retro-Revolution-8-Pound-Spring/dp/B0006SL4DI
but I don't think they were that brand. I was a bit distracted as MiL was rampaging about.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I bought a folding music stand today for £4.99.

My 9 year old loves singing so this will be great for her to put her sheets of lyrics on.
