    I got this spinning car thingy for my ds for xmas £4.99 the same one was £12.99 in post office xmas catalogue (glad I didn't buy it from there) it has an lcd screen on and talks back etc...the only thing is it is sensitive to touch and very noisy! Can't find a good enough hiding place so my ds doesn't find it!
    I also bought some Walkers Lamb & Curry crisps pk 6 for 59p but unfortunately I left them on the counter. :(
    Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Just got back from HB in Crossgates, Leeds, having bought:

    * Umbro Woman Exotic perfume 99p
    * Children's Reel 'Em In fishing game £3.99
    * sewing products including cotton, needles, name tags, hemming, etc, 29p
    * Hallmark blue leather wallet for baby keepsakes (absolutely lovely) 49p
    * Elegant Baby blue and brown striped hooded jacket gift set (again really nice) 99p
    * Ben 10 PJs £4.49
    * Sportacus PJs £3.99
    * Mug in a tin for blokes 99p
    * Party Princess pink jewellery chests/wardrobes/handbags/purses/pencil cases all £1.99 or less for the smaller items

    They also had the Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy and Spiderman enemy dress up outfits. And nice HSM and Hannah Montana jigsaws for 99p.

    Definitely some great savings there. Particularly pleased with the baby hooded jackets and the PJs - a friend wants these for her son's birthday present on Saturday, and the cheapest I found them online for both was £13.50 delivered.

    Sorry, folks, I posted my tip about Jacob's Creek chardonnay at £3.99 separately. I didn't realise that Home Bargains had such a following ( or that it was SO good). I am a newbie! Thanks to all for advice.

    Ok sorry to sound dumb, but what is that Australian wine called that some people have found in HB, it begins with B? I saw an advert on tv for it last night? And my other question is, has anyone seen this in any Leeds stores, or in Pontefract or Selby? Couldn't find it in Crossgates yesterday but my PIL would love some.

    Has anyone seen the vodka cranberry chocs in any branches? They're the same brand as the ones I bought in Blackpool for 59p, but these cranberry ones I saw in the 99p shop. They're VERY yummy and was hoping HB have some somewhere-preferably in Stroud as I'll be there for Halloween!

    :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
